Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualifications and Experience:
- TGT (Physical Education): Bachelor’s degree with Physical Education as an elective subject with 50% marks, AND a Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) of at least one year duration from an NCTE-recognized institution. Alternatively, an M.A.Ed. of at least two years duration from an NCTE-recognized institution.
- PGT (Mathematics/Applied Mathematics, History, Psychology): Four years Integrated Degree Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate, OR two years Integrated Post Graduate M.A./M.Sc. Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% aggregate marks, OR Post-Graduation with minimum 50% marks or equivalent grade and three-year integrated B.Ed./M.Ed..
- TGT (Hindi, Sanskrit, Science): Post-Graduation with a minimum 50% marks or equivalent grade and a three-year integrated B.Ed./M.Ed.. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject/combination of subjects and in aggregate.
- Science: Bachelor degree in Science with any two subjects from Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Hindi/Sanskrit: Must have the respective language as a subject in all three years of Graduation.
- TGT (Computer Science): BCA or Graduation in Computer Science or BE/B.Tech (Computer Science/IT) or Graduation in any subject and A level course from DOEACC, Min of Info & Communication & Technology, GOI.
- Primary Teacher (PRT): Graduate holding a Bachelor’s degree with at least minimum 50% marks in aggregate, AND B.El.Ed/02- Year D.El.Ed.
- PRT (Activity – PAT): B.P.Ed or D.P.Ed from a recognized institution.
- PRT (Dance): Diploma in Dance, with mandatory good communication skills in English.
- PRT (Computer Science): BCA or Graduation in Computer Science or BE/B.Tech (Computer Science/IT).
- PRT (Art & Craft): Bachelor’s degree with Fine Arts / Visual Arts / Art & Craft as a subject (minimum 50% marks).
- Kindergarten Teacher (KGT): Diploma of minimum two-year duration in Nursery Teacher Education / Pre- School Education / Early Childhood Education Programme (D.E.E.Ed), OR a B.Ed (Nursery) from any NCTE-recognised institution. NTT/Montessori training from a recognized institution or ECCE qualification obtained from IGNOU / NIOS / any other NCTE-recognised institution is also required.

Age Relaxations and Notes:
- Candidates who are qualified in AWES OST are preferred.
- Interviews are only for short listed candidates, tentatively in May 2026.
- No TA DA will be admissible as Army Public School, Wellington is a private unaided school.

Selection is based on interviews for short listed candidates.
Procedure to Apply:

- Attach a demand draft for ₹250/- (Rupees Two Hundred and Fifty) only, payable to “ARMY PUBLIC SCHOOL WELLINGTON”.
- Submit a separate, filled application form for each category (PGT/TGT/PRT/KGT) with all self-attested enclosures.

- Submit applications by post or by hand on or before 08 May 2026 (1500hrs).
