The Reserve Bank of India Services Board (Board) has released an advertisement (Advt. No. RBISB/DA/01/2026-27) for the direct recruitment of Officers in Grade ‘B’ (Direct Recruit-DR) on probation for the General, Department of Economic and Policy Research (DEPR), and Department of Statistics and Information Management (DSIM) Cadres. Applications are invited from eligible candidates, who are required to apply online. A total of 60 vacancies have been announced for the panel year 2026.

Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualifications (as on April 01, 2026):
- Grade ‘B’ (DR) General – Graduation in any discipline/Equivalent with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD, if posts are reserved) OR Post-Graduation in any discipline/Equivalent with minimum 55% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD, if posts are reserved) in aggregate.
- OGrade ‘B’ (DR) – DEPR – MA/MSc in Economics or MA/MSc in Finance (where the field is the principal constituent of the curriculum) with minimum 55% marks in aggregate (50% for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates, if posts are reserved).
- Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DSIM – Master’s Degree in Statistics/Mathematics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics/Quantitative Econometrics/Informatics/Data Science/AI/Machine Learning/Big Data Analytics or related branches with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate (50% for SC, ST, and PwBD if reserved), OR a four-year Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 60% marks in related subjects (50% for SC, ST, and PwBD if reserved).
