Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications:

  • Operator (HEMM) Gr. III: 10th with ITI (MMV or Diesel Mechanic) plus Apprenticeship certificate and Heavy vehicle driving license.
  • Mining Mate Gr. III: 10th with valid Mining Mate Certificate of Competency (Restricted to open cast Metalliferous Mines) issued by DGMS.
  • Jr. Foreman (Mines): Diploma in Mining/Mining Engineering with valid Mining Foreman Certificate of Competency (Restricted to opencast Metalliferous Mines) issued by DGMS.
  • Jr. Foreman (Electrical): Diploma in Electrical Engineering (full time) with valid Supervisory Certificate of Competency (M.V/ H.T/ Ε.Η.Τ) issued by the Electrical Licensing Board, Odisha covering Mining installations.
  • SUPT/Technician/Operator (various trades): 10th with ITI (NCVT/NCVET) of 2 years duration in the respective trade, along with apprenticeship certificate (where applicable). B.Sc. (Hons) in Chemistry is required for SUPT(JOT)- Laboratory.

Selection Process:

  • Selection for posts 5, 7, 9, 11, and 12 is based on a Computer Based Test (CBT) only.
  • Selection for posts 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 13 is made through CBT and a Trade Test, with weightage of 60% for CBT and 40% for the Trade Test.
  • The CBT is a 100-question, 120-minute objective type paper (60% technical, 40% non-technical). There is no negative marking.
