Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualifications:
- RCI recognized D.Ed. route: RCI recognized D.Ed. in Special Education or Equivalent (regular mode) AND at least 50% marks in the Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Humanities.
OR Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology
Non-D.Ed. route: At least 50% marks in Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Humanities.
OR Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology
Other Criteria:
- Relaxation of marks for Reserve Category candidates is admissible as per rules of the Government of West Bengal.
Method of Selection:

| 3. | Special weightage of 10 points is given to candidates who are a parent of a child with disability (must have a Disability Certificate for the child). |

Programme Duration:
- 2 years (4 semesters): For learners who have completed an RCI recognized Diploma in Special Education or Equivalent through regular mode.
- 2 1/2 years (5 semesters): For learners who have not completed an RCI recognized Diploma in Special Education or Equivalent through regular mode.

The counselling for admission is Central and Off-line, and is held at NSOU HQs, Kolkata.
