CRPF has currently released its 2026 recruitment notification for 9,175 vacant posts of Constable (Technical & Tradesmen and Pioneer). For candidates who have completed their 10th, this notification represents one of the most sought-after entry points into the public sector this year 2026.

Educational Qualifications:
Constable (Driver):
Educational: Candidates must have at least a Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board or university.
Technical: Must possess a Heavy Transport Vehicle Driving License and pass the driving test during recruitment.
Constable (Mechanic Motor Vehicle):
Educational: Minimum Matriculation or 10th Class pass (under the 10+2 system) from a recognized board or equivalent.
Technical: Must have a two-year ITI certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle and one-year practical experience in the field, OR a three-year National or State apprenticeship certificate in the trade plus one-year practical experience.
All Other Tradesmen (Technical & Tradesmen):
Educational: Minimum Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board or university. For Ex-Army personnel, an equivalent Army qualification is accepted.
Technical: Must be proficient and have worked in the respective trades.
Pioneer Wing (Mason/Electrician):
Educational: Matriculation
Technical: Must have one year of experience in respective trades like Masonry or Electrician. Preference is given to those with a trade certificate from a recognized Industrial Training Institute (ITI).
Important Notes:
Cut-off Date: Candidates must have acquired all essential educational and technical qualifications by January 1, 2026.
Distance Education: Degrees, diplomas, or certificates obtained via distance learning are only accepted if they are recognized by the Distance Education Bureau, University Grants Commission for the relevant period.
Proof of Qualification: Original mark sheets and certificates must be produced during Document Verification to prove qualifications were met on or before the cut-off date.

Salary:
Selected candidates for the post of Constable (Technical & Tradesmen and Pioneer) will be placed in Pay Level-3, with a salary range of Rs. 21,700 – 69,100.
Selection Process:
Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standards Test (PST), Computer Based Test (CBT), Trade Test, Document Verification and Medical Examination
Final selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained in Computer Based Test (CBT)
